Dimitrije Milovich's story of becoming one of the fathers of the snowboard

In the year 1970 Milovich, an east coast surfer, got a spark of genius while sliding around on a cafeteria trays in snowy New york. He started development like no one else had using steel edges on a short surf board experimenting with laminating glass and other things to make his board.Giving birth to the company "Winterstick" which is considered the very first snowboard company ever. The year 1975 his company being mentioned in magazines and barely existing on the market. In 1980 the company unfortunately went broke.
