Jake burton's story to becoming one of the fathers of the snowboard.

The year 1980 when Jake was a 23 year-old student at the time. He was a big snurfer fan and wanted keep improving the toy till it can actually be considered a real sporting good. To make foot traps for more controls and fins for more stability the future of this improvements seemed possible for improving his riding.Started making boards out of fiber glass, adding binding to help add more control, and made it possible to help control the snowboard on hard packed snow. His company developed  into one of the most prosperous companies for snowboard sporting goods.
